Scholarship Opportunities

The Roy "Hap" Mahaffey Memorial Scholarship

Awarded annually to students who have demonstrated outstanding talent and interest in forensic or theatre activity (available for continuing and new students).

The Singletary Scholarship

Awarded annually to communication arts majors who have demonstrated outstanding talent and interest in the study and practice of communication.

The Ballenger Scholarship

Awarded every fourth year to a junior or senior with interest and expertise in theatre arts.

Speech Achievement Awards

Granted to students who demonstrate excellence in public speaking and who participate in the Linfield forensics program.

Theatre Achievement Awards

Granted to students who demonstrate excellence in theatre and who are theatre majors or minors.

Forensics Talent Awards

Need-based financial awards granted to students who participate in the Linfield forensics program.

Theatre Talent Awards

Need-based financial awards granted to students who participate in the theatre program.

Linfield Competitive Scholarships

Department-sponsored scholarships for prospective first-year students. Competitions are held on the McMinnville campus with participation by invitation only. In the theatre and communication arts department, competitive scholarships are available for students with interest and talent in theatre, communication arts and intercultural communication.
