WSET Frequently Asked Questions

Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET)

Frequently asked questions

  • Am I required to begin at level 1?

No, you are not required to start your WSET journey at level 1. We recommend that those with years of wine industry experience begin at level 2 or 3. Level 1 is meant for candidates who are beginning their wine journey. The only prerequisite for the Wine and Spirits Education Trust is that all candidates who plan to take the Diploma course of study pass Level 3.

  • What course are you ready to take?
