The information below identifies how credit is awarded for each of the Advanced Placement content areas. Linfield awards 4 credits for each Advanced Placement exam when a score of 4 or 5 is earned. Students may count up to a total of 31 credits from Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and other non-course credits towards the 125 required for graduation.
Note: Credits from any one AP exam may be used to apply only one general education area or a degree (BA or BS). If an AP subject has more than one area listed you can choose where you would like it to apply. Linfield's general education requirements (Linfield Curriculum) includes six modes of inquiry and two areas of diversity studies. These are abbreviated below (CS, IS, NW, QR, UQ, VP, US, GP).
