  • Specialized courses

    Strategic Wine Production From Grapes to Glass: Develop and execute a profitable and sustainable strategic plan for producing wines. (BNWL 540)

    Wines Sales – Wholesale, Direct to Consumers and Global Distribution: An advanced look at the domestic and international wine sales process, direct-to-consumer sales across the U.S. and sales challenges across the globe. (BNWL 541)

    Wine Marketing – Public Relations and Hospitality: Explore marketing strategy, wine club development, tasting room management and how wine writers and scores influence consumer perceptions of wine. (BNWL 542)

    Business and Financial Analysis For Wine Industry Leaders: Forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling and capital planning in the wine industry. (BNWL 543)

  • Intensive workshops

    The program offers four intensive and interactive workshops where you will apply the information you're learning in the classroom. Potential wine-specific workshops offered may include:

    • Creating a Wine Brand and Wine Company
    • Hospitality, Tasting Room and Wine Club Management
    • The Legal, Compliance and Human Resources Challenges Facing the Wine Industry
    • Wine Sustainability
  • International capstone project

    Gain real skills by doing real experience. Instead of a typical written thesis, the M.S. program ends with a capstone that applies your knowledge and expertise on a global scale. Consult directly with an international organization to solve one of its real-world problems, and then spend seven days at the international location to present your recommendations. Airfare is included in the cost of the program.

We are pleased to introduce our 2022-23 Master of Science in business cohort! Now in its second year, this one-year program offers three tracks – design innovation, sport leadership and wine business leadership. It is designed for anyone ready to pursue roles in leadership.
