Applying to the Master of Science (MS) in business

Application deadlines

We recommend that you apply by the following priority deadlines. Doing so will allow plenty of time to meet with your advisor, register and prepare for classes. However, we will accept qualified students until the cohort is full.

  • April 15: Priority admission deadline to apply for the MS in business fellowship scholarship
  • June 1: Priority deadline for fall entry

MS in business admission requirements

  • 2.75 cumulative GPA
  • GRE/GMAT (optional; these test scores must be sent directly from the testing agency before an offer of admission is finalized)

Application checklist

  1. Submit application
  2. Personal statement (uploaded to your application)
  3. Two references (you will provide your references' names and their contact information)
  4. Resume/CV (uploaded to your application)
  5. Submit official transcripts (one must show receipt of your bachelor's degree) directly to the Office of Admission:

    Students with international credentials: you will need to submit a translated credential evaluation (from one of these agencies) with your admission application
  6. If you are requesting the optional GRE/GMAT scores, they must be sent directly from the testing agency before an offer of admission is finalized
  7. A $50 application fee is due to Linfield with your application
  8. International students: Applicants who are non-native English speakers and have completed fewer than two years of coursework in a college or university where English is the primary instructional language must send an official score report of an English proficiency exam. Linfield requires TOEFL scores of 80 (iBT)/550 paper or IELTS 6.5.
