Major in Digital Art

Graphic design and digital art give visual expression to some of our most important ideas. As a digital art major at Linfield University, you will work with emerging and industry-standard technologies to develop your personal style, integrate digital content with imagery and develop your own aesthetic sense.

You might take

2D Design

Compositional design, critical approaches and creative studio practices in a variety of media. (ARTS 102)

Digital Art

Your computer becomes an expressive tool as you learn basic graphic composition using Adobe Creative Cloud. (ARTS 242)

Book Arts

Create artist books and learn techniques of bookbinding using hands-on and digital page layout methods. (ARTS 245)
