Effective managers are leaders who learn as fast as the world is changing. If you tend to lead by example, have an infectiously positive attitude, great focus and a high level of drive, a major in management at Linfield will sharpen your talents for guiding successful teams in any setting.


This program is offered on our McMinnville campus through the School of Business or fully online through Online and Continuing Education (OCE).

As a management major at Linfield

you might take:

Organizational Behavior and Management

Introduction to human behavior in organizations, and management of business and organizational behavior within global and ethical contexts. (BNMG 310)

Industrial and Organizational Psychology

Psychological principles applied to business: employee attitudes, job analysis, recruiting, performance evaluation, design and evaluation of training systems, and organizational change and development. (BNMG 380)

Human Resources Management

Administration of human resource strategies: staffing, labor relations, safety and health, compensation, training development and career planning. Evaluate cultural and ethical issues, and global influences on staff and organizations. (BNMG 405)

On-campus versus online program
