When Chelsea King took the Strength Finders test and scored highest in the areas of curiosity and love of learning, she realized that her career choices made sense. She is a facilitator, mediator, trainer, certified professional coach and adjunct college professor. She is current faculty at Linfield University and previously taught at Portland State University.
Chelsea founded Heart Centered Work in 2007. In her work, she guides individuals and teams through important conversations and processes, always with an equity, diversity and inclusion lens, and always with honesty and kindness at the foundation.
Chelsea serves as the chair of the West Linn-Wilsonville School Board, where she has been instrumental in board development, equitable policy updates and program implementation, and strategic moves to disrupt systems of racism. Chelsea founded the Wilsonville Alliance for Inclusive Communities, connecting a group of individuals dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Chelsea resides in Wilsonville, Oregon with her three teenagers. In her free time, you can find her doing yoga, blues dancing or taking long walks with friends.
