My background includes medical-surgical nursing at Houston Methodist - Texas Medical Center and St. Luke's Health - Baylor St. Luke's Houston Medical Center. I was a school nurse (6th-8th grade) in the Houston area. As an AGPCNP, I focused on chronic care management for those living in long-term care and assisted living facilities. I began teaching in 2020 at a university in East Texas, focusing on fundamentals and geriatrics. I am currently working to complete my DNP in the spring of 2024. My project is focused on nursing student resilience. I love working with students and helping guide them through their educational journey.
