Katie Higinbotham earned her MFA from Western Washington University, where she was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Writer Award for her multi-genre work in nonfiction and poetry. Katie loves working with beginning writers at Linfield in both Inquiry Seminar (INQS) and literature courses. Her latest concentrations include women writing nature and how we tell stories of activism through music. Her most recent hybrid work and essays appeared in the Offing and the Rappahannock Review.
