John Shuford Adjunct
I have taught for Linfield OCE since 2009, offering the following courses: History of Western Thought I & II, Science: A Candle in the Dark, Bioethics, Philosophy of Law, Social/Political Philosophy, and Fundamentals of Philosophy. My courses satisfy the UQ requirement; some also satisfy the VP and GP requirements.

- J.D. from University of Oregon School of Law
- M.A. and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Oregon
Academic Interests
In addition to teaching for Linfield, I have taught, worked as a researcher, or served as an administrator at Royal Roads University (Canada), Gonzaga University, University of Washington, University of Oregon, UC-Davis, and Portland State University.
