Linfield athlete spends summer as political intern

Logan Lamb '16Linfield College sophomore Logan Lamb had a first-hand look at the political system this summer in Washington, D.C., as an intern for U.S. Congress Representative Greg Walden.

During his internship, Lamb was thrust into the political scene on Capitol Hill. His responsibilities included addressing constituents’ concerns and assisting on special legislation projects for Oregon and the U.S.

Lamb is also involved in Linfield campus life. He is the youngest charter president in Theta Chi fraternity history and an offensive lineman for the Linfield football team. His interest in politics stems from his grandfather’s involvement in Long Beach politics. He also followed in his father’s footsteps by radio announcing for some of the Linfield baseball games.
