Linfield hosts Hispanic Heritage Celebración

Hispanic Heritage CelebracíonLinfield College will celebrate Hispanic heritage and culture during its Hispanic Heritage Celebración. The event will be held Sunday, Oct. 22, from 12:30–3:30 p.m. at the Rutschman Field House on campus.  

The celebration, held on the last day of Linfield’s Family Weekend, will feature live music performances by Edna Vazquez and Melao de Cuba, activities such as piñatas, face painting and bouncy castles, as well as a variety of Hispanic and Latinx food.  

The event will extol Hispanic heritage and culture and support Linfield’s Hispanic and Latinx students and their families. Recently, Linfield was lauded by U.S. News & World Report for being the most diverse liberal arts college in the Pacific Northwest
