Institutional Research

The Office of Institutional Research collects and disburses reliable, accurate information about Linfield and its operations in order to support planning, decision-making and institutional assessment. Institutional Research (IR) publishes the "Fact Book" to reflect the current state of the university as well as trends over time. IR provides regular reports to administrative and academic units and responds to particular requests from staff, faculty and students as time allows. IR helps Linfield fulfill its responsibilities to federal and state agencies, as well as to consortia and other organizations (university surveys & guides, for example).

Information reported is generally in an aggregate form that cannot be linked to any individual. Any information that remains identifiable is handled by Linfield officials in the course of their professional responsibilities and in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
