I have taught Philosophy, Health Sciences/Health & Human Performance, and Interdepartmental Studies courses for Linfield OCE since 2009. I also teach Ethics and Law online in the Royal Roads University School of Humanitarian Studies. I have previously taught online and in person at the University of Oregon, Gonzaga University and Portland State University.

Academic Interests

Ethics, Social/Political Philosophy, Philosophy of Law/Jurisprudence, History of Ideas/Western Thought, Moral and Social Psychology, Theories of Knowledge. I am especially interested in transdisciplinary and transhistorical studies of what supports or inhibits human flourishing, including the roles that emotions, values, and narratives play in human conflict and conflict transformation.
