I taught in Tillamook, Oregon, for 33 years. For the past ten I have worked in the area of teacher preparation. Getting students outside in Outdoor School Education is important to me, so I have worked as a leader at Tillamook County Outdoor School since 1986. Currently I work with Tillamook Estuaries Partnership in Garibaldi, Oregon, setting up the Children's Clean Water Festival. Volunteering is important as well, therefore I volunteer as a docent in the summer at Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad.
