My interest in medicine began when I obtained a B.A. in neuroscience from Colorado College and only grew as I completed the ABSN program at Emory University in 2016. Since then, I have worked primarily in the ambulatory setting. For the last two years, I have been a float nurse at the University of Colorado Hospital, working in clinics that need an extra RN. I completed my MSN with a focus on education at Regis University in May 2022.

My greatest drive to be a nurse is an excitement about the wonder of medicine and the human body. I aim to instill that same excitement in a diverse group of nursing students through interactive lecturing, in-class activities and clinical experiences. If they get excited, I know I have done my job correctly.

Ultimately, I strive to foster a sense of confidence in students as they prepare to enter the nursing field through counseling, encouragement and inspiration.
