Linfield College National Science Foundation Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

Physics NotesLinfield College is excited to offer scholarships to support STEM education thanks to the National Science Foundation S-STEM (Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

The amount of each scholarship awarded will vary with financial need, with annual awards ranging to a maximum of $10,000.

We invite students who demonstrate a high grade point average, high grades in math and science courses, a distribution of coursework among math and science offerings, and financial need as demonstrated on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to apply. Particular weight will be given to students who come from underrepresented backgrounds or who are first generation college students. All applicants must intend to major in one of the following:

  • Applied Physics
  • Biology
  • Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science

  • Physics
