PLAN A "Unlimited Plan" – Unlimited Meals + $125 Flex ($2,850 per semester/$650 Jan Term):
The Unlimited plan allows you unlimited access to the All-You-Care-to-Eat (AYCE) food services in Dillin Hall as much – and as often – as you’d like. You can enter for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even stop in for a snack or two during the day. This plan is for an individual student and is non-transferable. During Fall and Spring Semesters the Unlimited plan provides $125 in Flex Dollars to use at the Wildcat Express, Starbucks or to purchase other retail/to-go items in Dillin.
PLAN B "Weekly Plan" – 12 Meals per week + $330 Flex ($2,775 per semester/$625 Jan Term):
The Weekly plan allows you to enjoy any 12 All-You-Care-to-Eat (AYCE) meals in Dillin per week, plus $330 in Flex Dollars (during Fall and Spring semesters). This plan typically appeals to students who do not eat every meal at Dillin and provides more Flex Dollars to use at the Wildcat Express, Starbucks or to purchase other retail/to go items in Dillin.
Note: Unused AYCE meals do not carry over from week to week.
PLAN C "Block Plan" – 100 Meals per semester + $600 Flex ($2,645 per semester/$595 Jan Term):
The Block plan allows you to enjoy any 100 All-You-Care-to-Eat (AYCE) meals in Dillin Hall per semester, plus $600 in Flex Dollars (during Fall and Spring semesters). This plan allows you to use your block plan allotment to purchase AYCE meals for family and friends, and provides the highest level of Flex Dollars to use at the Wildcat Express, Starbucks or to purchase other retail/to go items in Dillin.
Note: Unused AYCE meals do not carry over from semester to semester.
Jan Term and Spring Term meal plan selections are made online through the student portal. You do not need to come into the Student Affairs office but you are welcome to contact them if you have any questions.
Dining & Meal Plan FAQs
All students in residence halls or fraternity housing (who are non-suburb eligible) are required to be on a meal plan. For the first semester that a student attends Linfield (including transfer students) and lives in a residence hall, they start with the Unlimited meal plan. For the second semester and thereafter, a different option may be chosen. If no meal plan is indicated on this form, the Unlimited meal plan will be assigned to the student's account. Meal Plan changes may only be made during the first two weeks of fall and spring semesters, and during the first two days of January Term. Students may make meal plan changes before the designated date through the Student Affairs office in Melrose Hall 110 or by emailing email@example.com.
There is no meal plan exemption available for students living in residence halls or for students living in fraternities (who are non-suburb eligible). Our campus dining services program can accommodate your special dietary requirements. Students with special dietary needs or concerns are encouraged to contact Bill Masullo, Director of Dining Services at, firstname.lastname@example.org Students must reapply for a modified meal plan each academic year.
The College shall provide meals on a regular basis subject to the Food Service Board Contract. A student's Linfield College account must be "cleared" to eat on the Meal Plan. Student ID cards are used as meal cards and are required for service. This Meal Plan Contract Agreement begins with breakfast on Friday, August 23, 2019. Dillin Hall will be closed during: Thanksgiving Break, Semester Break, January Term Break, and Spring Break. This Meal Plan Contract Agreement ends with the conclusion of the academic year.
Wildcat Cash is separate from the Linfield College meal plan. Students may purchase Wildcat Cash by visiting the Dining Services office in Dillin Hall
Yes, the Block plan allows you to use multiple meals at a time so you can treat guests to a delicious AYCE meal at Dillin. Both the Unlimited and Weekly plan allow you to use your Flex Dollars to pick-up the tab for guests.
All meals offered in Dillin Hall will be All-You-Care-to-Eat (AYCE). Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered on weekdays, with brunch and dinner offered on the weekends. There are 19 AYCE meals served in Dillin Hall every week and 285 AYCE meals per semester. For those of you keeping track, that means the Weekly plan allows you to enjoy 12 of the 19 AYCE meals served every week, while the Block plan allows you to enjoy 100 of the 285 AYCE meals served every semester.

Dillin Hall – the building – will be open Fall as follows (subject to change without notice):
- Monday-Thursday: 7am-8pm
- Friday: 7am-7pm
- Saturday: 10am-7pm
- Sunday: 10am-7pm
Starbucks is located in Riley Hall.
Yes, to protect your account from unauthorized use, you are required to present your own ID card for AYCE meals and retail purchases using Flex Dollars or Wildcat Cash. No one else is allowed to use your card. Of course, cash/credit/debit purchases may be made without presenting your ID card.
Flex Dollars are included in the Unlimited, Weekly, Block and voluntary meal plans and may be used at any on-campus dining location (Dillin, Catty Shack and Starbucks). Flex Dollars work like a pre-paid debit card with funds kept on your student ID card. Flex Dollars may be carried over from the Fall to the Spring when a new meal plan is purchased in the Spring. However, Flex Dollars are not carried over from academic year to academic year.
If you’d like to know where you stand at any point during the year, simply present your card to any cashier in Campus Dining Services (Dillin, Starbucks, Catty Shack). After swiping your card, the cashier will be able to tell you how many meals you have left and/or how much money (Flex Dollars or Wildcat Cash) you have on your account.
If you have Flex Dollars that you’re looking to spend, there are a variety of ways to spend Flex Dollars at the end of Spring semester – contact Retail & Catering Manager Vicki Farris (503-883-2555 or email@example.com) to arrange for a pizza party or ice cream social!
If you run out of Flex Dollars you may decide to purchase Wildcat Cash or make purchases using cash/debit/credit. Wildcat Cash may be purchased in the Dining Services office in Dillin Hall.
Wildcat Cash is voluntary dollars that you can choose to add (or replenish) whenever you choose. Like Flex Dollars, Wildcat Cash works like a pre-paid debit card with funds kept on your student ID card and may be used at any on-campus dining location (Dillin, Catty Shack and Starbucks). Unlike Flex Dollars, however, Wildcat Cash can be carried over from year to year.
If you run out of Wildcat Cash, you may decide to replenish your account by adding additional funds to your account or make purchases using cash/debit/credit. Wildcat Cash may be purchased (or replenished) in the Dining Services office in Dillin Hall.
Please report lost or stolen cards immediately to CPS at 503-883-SAFE (7233). If your card is lost or stolen you will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of $15 for your card replacement. Linfield College identification cards are available at Cozine Hall in the CPS Office Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. We ask for your assistance with the following procedures:
- Please bus your table when you have finished dining.
- Meal cards are non-transferable. They cannot be used by anyone other than the purchaser.
- You must present your ID card to gain access to the AYCE meals and for retail purchases.
- We make every effort to reduce our carbon foot print on the environment, please don’t waste food.
- Please refrain from taking dishes, flatware and glassware from the dining area.
