McMINNVILLE – Eight faculty members from the Linfield College Art Department will practice what they teach when they display art work in the first exhibit of the academic year, "Vantage Points – Faculty Exhibition."

The show will run Aug. 30 through Sept. 24 at the Fine Art Gallery of the James F. Miller Fine Arts Center at Linfield. An opening reception will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 7 p.m. in the gallery.

Artists include professors Nils Lou and Ron Mills; assistant professor Liz Obert; and adjunct professors Tamera Bremer, Jo Hockenhull, Shaun Jarvis, Jerry Jensen, Cris Moss and Totem Shriver. The exhibit features work in painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics and video, and highlights the diversity in talent and artistic approach within the department.

The Linfield exhibit is free and open to the public. The Linfield Fine Art Gallery is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
