10/9/2008 Linfield students host community Halloween activities

McMINNVILLE – Linfield College students will host safe and fun Halloween activities open to the community on Friday, Oct. 31.

Children up to the age of grade six can participate in the trick-or-treat tour from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Parents must accompany their children during the tour, which is sponsored by the Linfield College Residence Life program. Students will lead the tours beginning in the Fred Meyer Lounge in Riley Hall. Tours will start every half hour.

The haunted house will be held at the Delta Psi Delta fraternity house, 369 College Ave., from 8 to 11:30 p.m. The Delta Psi Delta fraternity and the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority are sponsoring the annual haunted house. The entry fee is two cans of non-perishable food or cash donations, which will go to the Yamhill County Food Bank and the Henderson House.
