Portland's Department Overview
The Information Technology (ITS) department provides support for computer, audio-visual equipment, and other technologies on the Portland campus of Linfield College. For support please email email@example.com. If you'd like view McMinnville's ITS Support page it can be found here: McMinnville ITS
The IT department installs, configures, and provides on-going assistance with computer hardware and software for staff and faculty on the Portland campus. This includes support for the creation and usage of Linfield CatNET (email, etc.) accounts.
The computer labs in Loveridge are 24/7 with current faculty, student and staff ID badges.

Computer Lab and Classroom support
IT supports and maintains computer hardware and software in the Loveridge Hall lab, the computer classroom in Peterson Hall and the Library's catalog stations. IT maintains local servers for lab management and backups and support for HESI exams.
IT supports videoconferencing of meetings and classes between the Portland Campus and the McMinnville Campus.
Portland Network support
The hosts for Linfield College e-mail, library services and Web services including Blackboard, as well as the college's gateway to the Internet are located at the McMinnville campus. IT provides some user assistance with these Linfield services. The department manages wireless networking for the Portland campus and works with McMinnville network and server management personnel for trouble-shooting and maintenance at Portland.
The IT department provides for central scheduling and delivery of audio-visual equipment for the campus, support for equipment located in classrooms and support for the video-conferencing system.
