Homer, a science teacher and coach, and Bette, a language arts teacher and reference librarian, established two endowed funds at Linfield through a generous gift from their estate: one that provides scholarships for students majoring in the natural sciences and a second that supports the library. Although they passed away over five years ago, their care and concern for educating young people lives on. If you’d like to have a confidential conversation about how you could have a similar impact at Linfield, contact Craig Haisch ’95, director of philanthropic planning, at 503-883-2675 or chaisch@linfield.edu.
