Three earn alumni scholarships Three incoming Linfield College students have earned scholarships from the Alumni Leadership Council. Each will receive $1,250 per year. Read along with students Looking for a summer read? This year’s Common Read selection is Dave Eggers’ novel The Circle. The book complements the theme of this year’s Program for the Liberal Arts and Civic Engagement “The Digital Self.” The goals of the Common Read program are to promote academic discourse and critical thinking, to create a sense of community among incoming students, and to integrate an academic and social experience into the campus community.
