Dana Gibbon ’15 of Kansas City, Mo., earned a master’s degree in bioinformatics and genomics from the University of Oregon and is a bioinformaticist at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research. Fancy meeting you here Separately Casey Jones ’07 and Meghan Gillen ’13 are serving as Peace Corp volunteers in Uganda, East Africa. Jones is a volunteer in the Global Health Service Partnership serving as an assistant lecturer of nursing at Muni University in Arua, West Nile. Gillen is an education volunteer in Kabulasoke in Gomba District. Their sites are at least 15 hours apart by car, and the two had never met, but a chance introduction while preparing Thanksgiving dinner for new U.S. literacy volunteers changed that. Rhiannon Ladwig ’13 of Aiea, Hawaii, was promoted to lieutenant junior grade in the U.S. Navy Supply Corps. She serves on the USS O’Kane. Susana Fajardo ’13 of Chapel Hill, N.C., earned a master’s in public health from Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina. Zoe Rozzi ’13 of Wasilla, Alaska, married Ryan Viola Aug. 5. Dorothy Sterling ’14 of Bellevue, Wash., is a certified pediatric nurse and won the Daisy Award for Nursing at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Max Milander ’14 of San Luis Obispo, Calif., is the play-by-play voice for men’s and women’s soccer, women’s basketball and softball at the University of Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.
