Matthew Atkinson ’08 of Spokane, Wash., received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Oregon State University and Oregon Health and Science University College of Pharmacy. He also received the Teva Pharmaceuticals Outstanding Student award, which is given to the graduating senior who consistently demonstrated exceptional qualities throughout their academic career and maintained the highest scholastic standards. He is continuing his pharmacy education as a resident at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children’s Hospital in Spokane. Christopher Braden ’08 of Minneapolis, Minn., received a Ph.D. in molecular, cellular, developmental biology from the University of Minnesota. Jamie McIntyre ’08 of Austin, Texas, married Raymond Taylor of Porterville, Calif., May 23 in Hawaii. Marie Rode ’08 of Beaverton graduated magna cum laude from Oregon Health and Science University with a bachelor’s in nursing.
