TEDxMcMinnville to feature Linfield employees, alumni

Nearly half of the presenters at McMinnville’s second annual TEDx have a connection to Linfield.

This year’s TEDxMcMinnville theme is “currents,” examining the interconnectivity of community. The event will take place on Saturday, Jan. 25, in the Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium, located in Melrose Hall at Linfield.

Linfield speakers include:

  • Natalie Bowker, Linfield counselor, presenting “Embracing Ambiguity.
  • Matt Brisbin ‘06, McMinnville teacher, presenting “Start a Learning Revolution. Throw Out the Gradebook.
  • Leonard Finkelman, Linfield philosophy professor, presenting “Extinction: Death and Memory.”
  • Cinthia Manuel ‘05, CEO and Founder of Autentica Consulting LLC, presenting “Mentoring: The Most Underutilized Secret to Success.”

They will all speak to the power of community and what draws us together … besides Linfield. More on their lectures can be found here: https://www.tedxmcminnville.com/2020-speakers
