Senior editor at Poetry Northwest to read at Linfield College

Keetje KuipersKeetje Kuipers, author of three books of poetry, will read a selection of her work on Tuesday, March 19, at 5 p.m. in the Austin Reading Room of the Nicholson Library at Linfield College.  

Her first book, “Beautiful in the Mouth,” was named one of the top ten debut poetry books of 2010 by Poets & Writers and appeared in the top ten on the contemporary poetry bestseller list. Her second collection, “The Keys to the Jail,” was a book club selection for The Rumpus. Most recently, her third book, “All Its Charms,” includes poems honored by publication in both “The Pushcart Prize” and “Best American Poetry” anthologies.  Continue reading

Author John Daniel to read from ‘Gifted’ at Linfield College 

Author John DanielThree-time Oregon Book Award winning author John Daniel will read from his debut novel, “Gifted,” as part of an ongoing series of readings at Linfield College. 

Daniel will read on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Austin Reading Room of the Jereld R. Nicholson Library at Linfield.

Susan Sokol Blosser, a pioneer in Oregon’s wine industry, will discuss her new book in a conversation at Linfield College. 

Blosser, co-founder of Sokol Blosser Winery, will talk about her new book “The Vineyard Years: A Memoir with Recipes” on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Austin Reading Room of the Jereld R. Nicholson Library at Linfield College.
