American Chamber Players to perform at Linfield

American Chamber PlayersOne of the most exciting and innovative chamber music ensembles will be performing classic pieces and new compositions at Linfield College. 

The American Chamber Players will perform Thursday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. in the Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium in Melrose Hall on campus. The program includes “Adagio and Rondo Concertante in F Major for piano and strings, D. 487” by Franz Schubert, “Three Watercolors for flute, cello, and piano” by Philippe Gaubert and “Quartet in E-flat Major for piano and strings, Op. 87” by Antonin Dvorák. The concert will also feature a new composition written for the group, “Hevenu shalom aleichem – Variations and Theme for flute and piano quartet” by Max Raimi.   Continue reading
