Featured in this program are the woodwind quartet, brass duo, string ensemble, music for voice, piano and viola, and piano duos.
Pianists, coached by Albert Kim, assistant professor of music, will perform music of Ravel. Two viola duos will perform the music of Wilhelm Friedman Bach and a string quartet will play Mozart’s Quartet No. 14 in G Major. Both ensembles are coached by Victoria Gunn, adjunct professor of music.
The woodwind quartet and brass duo are coached by Joan Paddock, professor of music. Woodwinds will perform music by Raymond David Burkhart, Toshi Nagata and Parker Wells, a Linfield senior whose composition “Vrandenburg” will be premiered. Brass will perform music by Henry Purcell, George Frederic Handel and Philip Bliss. In collaboration with Kim and Gunn, soprano Keri Dixon will perform vocal works by Jules Massenet and Frank Bridge.
