Pamela Goldsmith, guitarist and adjunct faculty member at Linfield College, will perform a range of music spanning from the classical era through the 20th Century, including works by Sor, Satie, Tárrega, Barrios, Villa-Lobos, Tansman and Lauro.
The recital begins Sunday, Nov. 3, at 4 p.m., in the Delkin Recital Hall at the Vivian Bull Music Center at Linfield. The concert is free and open to the public.
Goldsmith teaches private guitar lessons and group classes at Linfield and is active in the Pacific Northwest as a solo classical guitarist and collaborative performer. She maintains a private studio in Portland and teaches at Cathedral Park Music in St. Johns and has performed at such venues as Harvard University, the International Pinot Noir Celebration and The Old Church. She holds a master’s degree in classical guitar performance from Portland State University.
