Garry Killgore

Professor Killgore has published extensively about the role of aquatic training in sports rehabilitation and alternative training for athletes. He has provided scientific consulting for USA Track & Field and regularly gives presentations to organizations in the U.S. and Europe, including the International Olympic Committee’s First World Congress on Sport Sciences.

Dr. Killgore is founder, CEO and president of AQx, which designed the first deepwater running shoe, now used for training, strength conditioning and sports rehabilitation by professional and college athletes, hospitals and military troops in America and Europe.

Killgore chairs the Department of Health, Human Performance and Athletics at Linfield College.

He formerly served as head track & field and cross country coach at Linfield, and has been named NCAA III West Region Track and Field Coach of the Year numerous times. His athletes have earned nine national titles, 16 national runners-up titles, and 96 All-American and 87 Academic All-American honors. They have competed in both the U.S. and Canadian Olympic Trials.
