Through figurative and literal storms, the Linfield University-Good Samaritan School of Nursing‘s Class of 2021 completed their nursing education at a time unlike any other. Honoring Linfield’s newest class of nursing graduates

A total of 103 graduates will be recognized at a combination of online and in-person events on the university’s Portland campus, including a drive-thru “Carmencement” in-person celebration on Friday, May 21, as well as a virtual Spring Pinning broadcast on the university’s YouTube channel on Saturday, May 22.

Kim Dupree Jones to be inducted into Sigma 2021 International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame

Portrait of Kim JonesThe Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) announced plans to induct Linfield University’s Kim Dupree Jones into the International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame at the organization’s annual congress in July 2021. Jones is one of only 20 world-renowned nurse researchers — representing Australia, Canada, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States — who will be recognized for improving the profession of nursing and the people it serves.
