The start of another academic year is approaching quickly. Fall classes begin Monday, orientation and athletics are already in full swing, and a refreshing energy is palpable on both of our campuses. Convocation addresses “Liberal Arts in Motion”

Marvin Henberg is no stranger to Linfield. The former professor, administrator and interim president presents the keynote address at Opening Convocation at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28 in Ted Wilson Gymnasium. The talk is entitled “Liberal Arts in Action” and focuses on dispelling the myth that the liberal arts and sciences are not vocation-worthy. Continue reading

The Linfield University Alumni Association will honor four Wildcats for their hard work, innovation and generosity of spirit during its annual event, Linfield’s Finest, at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8 at The Grand, 325 NE Third Street, McMinnville. Linfield’s inaugural Hooding and Pinning Ceremony on Friday
