Linfield Theatre’s “The Wolves” runs Oct. 26-28, Nov. 2-5
Linfield Theatre Program’s fall production of “The Wolves,” a 2017 Pulitzer Prize finalist and Obie award–winning play by Sarah DeLappe, will open Oct. 26, with performances through Nov. 5. The play follows nine teenage girls on an indoor soccer team as they navigate daily life while doing soccer warm–ups and preparing for games. Continue reading

Linfield University congratulates the 32 students who earned Dean’s List honors during the summer 2023 academic term.
The Dean’s List identifies undergraduate students who have earned a term GPA at least equivalent to a cum laude (at least 3.650 GPA) for a given semester. It is computed following the posting of grades at the end of each semester. Continue reading
Rick Snaric named CIO for Linfield University
Rick Snaric has been named Linfield University’s new chief information officer. Snaric has been with the university since 2015, most recently in the role of director of technical services. U.S. News and World Report names Linfield No. 1 in Oregon for social mobility
For the fifth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report magazine has named Linfield University the No. 1 liberal arts college in Oregon and one of the best in the nation when it comes to social mobility. In the publication’s 2024 rankings, Linfield was named No. 52 in the nation on the “Top Performers in Social Mobility” list, up five spots from 2023’s No. 57. Continue reading
Salma Galván Pelayo ’23 receives Fulbright Award
Linfield University is proud to announce that Salma Galván Pelayo, a 2023 graduate from McMinnville, Oregon, received an English Teaching Assistantship from the U.S. Fulbright Student Program for the 2023-24 academic year. Galván Pelayo, who earned her degree in anthropology and Spanish, will support the teaching of English at the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS) in Brazil as part of a project to engage in local civic activity.
Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber’s Community Partner 2023 Award goes to Linfield University
Linfield University was named the recipient of the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber’s 2023 Community Partner award during the 29th annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration Dinner in Portland.
The Bravo Awards honor Latino achievements in Oregon and southwest Washington across a number of categories. The Community Partner Award is given to an organization that “has significantly contributed to the economic and social advancement of Latinos.” Continue reading
