Admission requirements for each program of Linfield are unique to that program and the types of students who pursue the variety of academic offerings. Students interested in our residential campus in McMinnville will use a different application than those applying to enter our pre-licensure nursing program in Portland, and our online programs request a different type of application.
Our residential campus enrolls about 600 new students each year, many just completing high school but 20% of new students each year are transfers from other colleges, or exchange students from other countries. Admission is open for fall and spring semesters each year.
Linfield University welcomes applications for admission to the Bachelor's degrees and the Certificates offered through the Online and Continuing Education Program. The application can be submitted online, or downloaded and mailed to the college.
