In order to be eligible for most benefits, an employee must be regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week or 0.50 FTE. Linfield's contribution toward health insurance premiums are prorated based on FTE. Adjunct faculty and temporary employees are not eligible for health insurance benefits; however, they are eligible to contribute to Linfield's 403(b) Retirement Plan. Employees who work .50 FTE or more, and who were hired prior to January 1, 1986, will receive the full college contribution towards health insurance premiums.
