Assistantship Program in France

Would you like to spend a year in France after graduation all expenses paid?  French Embassy in the United States Cultural Services

The French Ministry of Education is offering 1500 teaching assistantship positions in French primary and secondary schools to American citizens, between 20 and 30 years of age, graduates or undergraduates with a proficiency in French. This is a unique opportunity to:

  • spend a semester to a year in France with a monthly stipend
  • have a privileged insight into contemporary France
  • master the French language through linguistic immersion
  • gain valuable teaching experience

Dates: Every year between October 1 and April 30 or between October 1 and March 31

Tasks: English conversation classes 12 hours a week
monthly stipend: 900 euros

Deadlines: The application deadline is January 15 for 2015
