Order of Omega

Order of Omega is a national honor society that recognizes and honors members of the Greek community for high academic achievement and outstanding community service. The officers and members of Order of Omega are often leaders of their organizations or clubs and have a commitment to academic excellence and service. New members are considered for membership based on character, scholarship, service, and leadership. In order to be considered for membership of Order of Omega you must be a junior or senior member of the Greek community, maintain a cumulative GPA above the previous semester's all-Greek average, be in good standing with your Greek organization, and have at least one full year of academic residence at Linfield College. If you are interested in becoming a member of Order of Omega, you can contact one of the officers listed below. Order of Omega officers will also reach out and provide information to individual chapters when they begin to recruit new members.

To recognize those fraternity men and women who have attained a high standard of leadership in interfraternity activities, to encourage them to continue along this line, and to inspire others to strive for similar conspicuous attainment;
To unite outstanding fraternity men and women to create an organization which will help to mold the sentiment of the institution on questions of local and intercollegiate fraternity affairs;
To bring together members of the faculty, alumni, and student members of the institution's fraternities and sororities on a basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness;
To help create an atmosphere where ideas and issues can be discussed openly across Greek lines and to help work out solutions.
