View Linfield Student Employment Opportunities
Students will be notified of the amount of their student employment award on their financial aid award letter. Students will be awarded either from the Federal Work Study or Campus Employment program. Current Linfield students can review their award letter on WebAdvisor for the amount they have been awarded. After the student has accepted either the Federal Work Study or Campus Employment portion of their award, the student will want to review Linfield Student Employment Opportunities online. The Office of Human Resources is the students primary point of contact after the award has been accepted on the award letter. Wages are based on the Oregon state minimum wage. Depending on the location of the employment, Oregon minimum wage varies. For example, students working in McMinnville will be paid $10.25/hour starting on July 1, 2017.
Federal Work Study
Federal Work-Study provides part-time jobs for undergraduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay educational expenses. Federal Work-Study is a federally funded need-based work program and encourages community service work and work related to the student's course of study. Students are responsible for finding their own employment on campus. Students are accountable to their work supervisors for hours and performance.
Campus employment is a Linfield funded program similar to the Federal Work-Study program, but is not a need-based work program. Job opportunities are similar and wages are the same.
