The Linfield College website is the foundation of Linfield's digital identity. Its primary role is to support student recruitment and retention by delivering accurate information about Linfield to a variety of users. Linfield is committed to delivering this content without discrimination based on technology or physical disability.
Linfield uses a Web Content Management System (WCMS) to manage most of the content visible to the general public. The system standardizes templating and simplifies content editing.
We depend on departments to monitor the accuracy of the content on their web pages. The webmaster is available to update content as needed by emailing changes to firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 503-883-2490.
If you would prefer to manage your own content, contact the webmaster to schedule training in our web content management system. Training takes about 45 minutes and will allow you to edit existing content, create new pages, upload images and files, and publish and unpublish web content.
We support an array of commercial, custom and open source data capture and delivery tools on our public website. If you have a need that is not met with our existing tools, contact the webmaster to schedule a meeting to discuss options. Be prepared to describe the workflow from data capture to internal business processes to content delivery.
Linfield uses Google Analytics to track website usage and client behavior within our site. Contact the webmaster if you would like a report on your department web activity or have more advanced needs such as campaign tracking.
