Portland Campus Application Procedure
The nursing program is located on the Portland Campus. The nursing major is an upper division major and students may apply for admission after completing specific prerequisites. Current McMinnville students refer to the Intercampus Transfer section. Visit the Portland School of Nursing Website for more information.
- Applicants transferring from other institutions to the nursing program must complete the NursingCAS common application online and submit supplemental application materials. A completed application for admission to the summer or fall cohorts must be submitted between November 15 and February 1. Application for the spring cohort must be submitted between June 1 and August 1.
- Applicants must pay a $50 application fee to NursingCAS and a $20 supplemental application fee to Linfield College.
- International applicants for whom English is a second language must take one of the English language exams listed under the International Student Admission Procedure section and achieve the corresponding minimum score for admission consideration to the Portland Campus.
- Students applying for need-based financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). Linfield’s school code of 003198.
