Hands-on learning for Linfield interns

The summer months are an ideal time for students to recharge and take a break from classes. Some Linfield College students use this time to enhance their liberal arts education through internships. Learn about a few of the internships Linfield students are participating in while class is out of session.

Summer research takes to the fields

Dozens of Linfield students spent their summer on campus working on research projects with faculty. Watch this video to see how Liam Home ’20, Jordan Clark ’18 and Michael Molgaard ’18 assisted Chad Tillberg, professor of biology, with the study of the relationship between ants, an herbicide and the endangered Fender’s blue butterfly.

Meet the Class of 2021

Linfield’s newest class – made up of leaders, volunteers, athletes and travelers – will arrive on campus later this month. Of the 470 students, 38 percent are students of color and 24 percent are the first in their families to attend college. Many are from Oregon – 63 percent – while others come from around the United States and abroad. Learn more about the class of 2021.

Wildcat Open memories captured

Nearly 200 Linfield Wildcat boosters, coaches and staff braved the scorching August heat and haze for the 2017 Wildcat Open. The event at The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club in Aloha is one of the main fundraisers for Top Cat Club. Check out some of the highlights in this video.
