Campus Visits and Events

Virtual programs

We know travel and visit options are limited right now. Join us for one of our virtual programs to learn more about Linfield and our academic offerings and campus community.

Explore Linfield

These events are designed for students wishing to learn about Linfield’s McMinnville campus programs. Offered on Zoom, you can attend programs hosted by an admission counselor to cover an overview of Linfield. We also offer programs hosted by faculty and discuss their academic departments and offerings.

Nursing info sessions

For students who will completed their prerequisites at other institutions prior to application to the School of Nursing, these small group information sessions (limited to 10 students) cover the application process, course evaluation and credit transfer.

School visits and college fairs

Due to COVID-19, admission counselors will be meeting with prospective students through virtual school visits and college fairs. Check out the calendar of upcoming events and how to register.

Campus tours

There’s nothing like actually visiting to get a feel for what a place is really like. Especially when it comes to choosing a “home away from home” for four years.

You’re invited to check out our 189-acre park-like campus in McMinnville, and our new campus in Portland. We host individual visits, group visits and campus events throughout the year. Learn more about your options and sign up.

Individual visits

In order to limit exposure within the Linfield community, campus visits are limited to students interested in applying and enrolling for fall 2020. Each day, we offer four, two-hour individual campus visits, which may consist of:

  • A campus tour led by an admission counselor
  • Financial aid appointment
  • Coach visit

We request 48 hours notice to confirm all visits. No walk-in appointments are permitted.

Group visits

We are not currently welcoming group visits, organized by high schools, community colleges or community-based organizations, at this time. If you would like to schedule a virtual presentation for your group, contact the Office of Admission at admission@linfield.edu.

Educational mentors

If you are a school counselor, transfer adviser, independent educational consultant or other educational mentor visiting campus on your own, please contact the Office of Admission at admission@linfield.edu regarding your interest.

Events

Explore Linfield

These events are designed for students wishing to learn about Linfield’s McMinnville Campus programs. Students and their guests will hear about academic and extracurricular offerings, as well as the admission, scholarship and financial aid process. Breakout sessions on specific topics, as well as a campus tour, is included.

Linfield Scholarship and Visit Weekend

Smart, talented and academically motivated students are encouraged to apply for admission by December 1 and join us for this invitation-only event. Participating students have the opportunity to win up to $5,000 per year toward their Linfield education and also learn about our outstanding academic and international programs, engaging student life and competitive athletic programs.

Off-campus events

Over the course of the year, admission counselors travel to meet with prospective students at high schools, community colleges and at college fairs. We also host individual informational interviews, which are not required, when possible.
