Major in Communication Arts

The ability to use symbols to communicate is a defining characteristic of human life. At Linfield, Communication Arts majors discover how to produce and receive those symbols in meaningful and responsible ways with respect for both similarities and differences among people and cultures. Participation on Linfield’s Forensics Team, the department's internship program, and community projects provide students with perspectives, practical skills, and flexibility to be engaged citizens as they pursue careers or graduate work.
