In 2019, Linfield is piloting a brand-new June Term to help students fulfill their Linfield Curriculum requirements. Because of its structure, students have more focused time with faculty and fellow students, as well as a chance to take a course that helps make progress toward degree completion.
All current students are eligible to take a June Term course. McMinnville and Portland campus students may not begin their Linfield studies during June Term.
The June Term pilot will take place on the McMinnville campus only, from June 3-June 28, 2019.
OCE and Portland summer terms are not considered part of the June Term pilot:
- OCE courses will be offered as usual from June 18 through August 17.
- Portland courses will be offered as usual from June 3 through August 16.
Please note that if June Term enrollment on the McMinnville campus does not meet minimum requirements, courses may be canceled. Enrolled students will be notified no later than Monday, May 20 if a course is canceled.
From June 3-28, students will concentrate on a single academic course. Six intensive courses will meet four or five days a week so that students can complete one full semester course over the period of four weeks.
