The Writing Program

The Linfield Writing Program is an across-the-disciplines program encompassing all students and faculty in all majors. Our goal is to help students become better writers and learn to express themselves successfully on the page. Writing Intensive (WI) classes are offered in all disciplines to help students learn the writing forms particular to their study.

In support of the Writing Program, the Writing Center offers free writing consultations to all students, first year through graduation. Writers can discuss their papers with trained student consultants in a collaborative effort to help students become better writers and produce better papers.
