Carbon Neutral Action Plan

The American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment (ACUPCC), which Linfield College President Thomas Hellie signed on Earth Day, 2008, commits Linfield to the development of an action plan taking the College to carbon neutrality.  That action plan is due to ACUPCC in spring 2010. 

During spring semester 2009, the Environmental Studies Problem Solving Seminar developed a draft of this action plan as their semester project in ENVS 485.  The ACES committee will be using that project as the basis for the College’s Action Plan during the 2009-2010 academic year, and will submit that plan to ACUPCC in May, 2010.
