Certified Offices

Since the adoption of the Green Office Partnership, several Linfield offices have applied and achieved various levels of certification.  Rating of an office's level of certification (basic, silver, gold, or platinum) is determined by the number of points each office accrues.  The point system can be found on the Green Office Program Checklist.  Criteria on the checklist hopes to increase an office's sustainable practices by bringing attention to an office's energy usage habits.  These criteria range from whether an office turns off unused computers, to the temperature the thermostat is set to in the Summer. Basic certification implies an office has taken the minimal necessary steps to become certified.  Silver implies room for improvement, and so on to Platinum, which has yet to be achieved by any Linfield office.
