Installing Clean Access for Windows XP

The first time you attempt to access the internet via a web browser, you will be redirected to the CatNet LAN authentication page:

Enter in your -

    • CatNet ID
    • CatNet Password
    • Provider is LDAP

2. Click Log Me In button.

3. You will be redirected to a Network Secruity Notice page.

  • Please read this page -
    • NOTE: If you have already downloaded and installed Clean Access, do not download again, close the page and go to the Clean Access icon located in the task bar (right hand corner of your desktop) and right-click and choose Login.
  • Click on Download Clean Access Agent button

4. A File Downloadndialog window will appear asking if you want to save this file?

  • Click on Save button.
  • A download dialog window will appear with a progress bar indicating CCAAgent is downloading.

5. A CCAAgent_Setup.exe file icon will appear on your desktop (if this is not the default for downloads, you will need to go to where yours is to find this file).

  • Double click to open/execute the exe file installation.

6. A Open File - Security Warming dialog window will appear.

  • Click Run button.

7. Click Next button.

8. Click Next button again.

9. Click Install button.

  • A installation dialog window will appear with a progress bar indicating CCAAgent is installing.

10. Click Finish button.

11. You will need to Restart Your Computer.

12. After restart, you will see a Clean Access Agent icon on your desktop and in the Notification Area (bottom right corner of the desktop).

  • Right click on the CA icon in the notification area and a sub-menu will appear, click on Login to begin the process of logging into and passing Clean Acccess.
